The Nebraska State Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property staff is excited to present the Unclaimed Property Report for 2014. The 40-page tabloid will be published in weekend and Sunday editions of 16 Nebraska newspapers, beginning March 9 and continuing through April 6.

You can meet this year’s stars of the Unclaimed Property Report by clicking the link below. We thank them for their willingness to share their stories of the property they claimed in 2013.

The 2014 report includes more than 37,500 names of people, organizations, institutions and businesses submitted to the Treasurer’s Office in 2013. Most names are listed by county of last known address. Some for whom addresses were not provided by the holders are listed under Unknown. In all, the Treasurer’s Office is holding more than $135 million in unclaimed property for 350,000 Nebraskans, former Nebraskans, and heirs.
